Photojournalist at Népszava, the biggest daily newspaper in Hungary
Documentary photographer
In my photography I am looking for the moments when the hidden Nature of reality reveals itself. I photograph in order to learn to see without a camera.
I am naturally drawn to the carnavalesque. I understand it as liminal spaces where the normal rules of the society are suspended, and thus an unprecedented way to experience reality can manifest.
I am passionate about hitchhiking and have covered so far more than 52.000 kilometres in 3 continents and 30+ countries.
Beyond that, I love travelling not only geographically but also sociologically and spritually. I believe that storytelling and thus visual storytelling is a noble and real form of travel.
I hold a BA degree in theology and Russian (with French minor). I graduated in 2020 with a Master's degree in International Relations from the Central European University, with distinction.
In 2019, I worked as an intern at Magnum Foundation, in New York City. I am currently enrolled at the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Course hosted by the Association of Hungarian Journaliasts.
Since 2024 I have been working as a full-time photojournalist for Népszava.
Do not hesitate to contact me for assignments and collaborations.
